Date Night

Derek and I finally go to go on date! We hadn't had one since we decided to come to Maxwell. Our friends Richard and Hadassah decided to take us to an Ethiopian Restaurant. We had first experience Ethiopian food en route to Kenya and we'd like it. The "christmas tree" looking thing (as we called it) is actually the table where they put your food. You don't have individual plates. The food comes on a large 2in. platter. The food is sitting on towel looking thing called "Enjeera." Enjeera is a type of fermented bread, which we did not like when we first tried it at a hotel we stayed at overnight Ethiopia.

Being our first time to really eat it the "Ethiopian" way, was a real treat. We really enjoyed it. I didn't think we had order enough food, but it was more than plenty!
